Let Merak Coins Handle Your CAC Submission
Have PCGS or NGC certified coins you’d like to submit to CAC?
Merak Coins is an authorized CAC submission dealer. We make the process simple — you send your coins to us, we handle the CAC submission, and your coins are securely returned to you when the submission is complete.
Whether you have one coin or an entire collection, we’re happy to help.
The Complete Submission Process
1. Send Us Your Coin Information
Contact Merak Coins and let us know what you’d like to submit.
For each coin, please provide the certification number whenever possible. This allows us to review the coins and identify any obvious eligibility issues before you spend money shipping them.
We’ll confirm that you’re ready to proceed and provide our current shipping instructions.
2. Package & Ship Your Coins to Merak Coins
Package your slabs securely so they cannot move around or strike one another during transit.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured shipping service based on the value of your coins.
Please do not send coins until you have received our current submission and shipping instructions.
3. We Receive & Verify Your Submission
When your package arrives, Merak Coins will check your submission against the information you provided.
We’ll verify the certification numbers, number of coins received, and the submission information before preparing the coins for CAC.
If we notice an eligibility issue or have a question about a coin, we’ll contact you before proceeding.
4. Your Coins Are Prepared for CAC
Merak Coins handles the CAC submission paperwork and preparation.
You do not need to open a CAC submission yourself or complete CAC dealer paperwork.
Your coins are then included with one of our regular dealer submissions to CAC.
5. Your Coins Are Shipped to CAC
We securely package and ship the submission to CAC.
Once CAC receives the submission, the coins enter CAC’s evaluation process.
6. CAC Evaluates Each Coin
CAC independently evaluates each eligible coin according to its current standards.
Merak Coins has no influence over CAC’s decision.
Submitting a coin through us does not guarantee CAC approval, and we cannot promise that a particular coin will receive a CAC sticker or other favorable result.
7. CAC Returns the Submission to Merak Coins
After CAC completes its evaluation, the submission is shipped back to Merak Coins.
We verify the returned coins against our submission records and confirm the results.
8. We Contact You With Your Results
Once your coins are back in our possession, we’ll let you know that your submission has returned and provide your results.
We’ll also confirm the final amount due, including applicable submission fees and return shipping/insurance.
9. Your Coins Are Shipped Back to You
After payment is completed and your return information is confirmed, we securely package your coins for their trip home.
Return shipping and insurance are based on the number and declared value of the coins being returned.
Tracking information will be provided when your package ships.
How Much Does It Cost?
Typical CAC submission fees through Merak Coins are approximately $35–$40 per coin for coins valued under $10,000, depending on the submission and applicable fees.
Higher-value coins and certain submission categories may have different fees.
Return shipping and insurance are additional and depend on the number and value of coins being returned.
We’ll confirm the expected charges before your submission is finalized.
How Long Does It Take?
Our typical turnaround is approximately two weeks, but turnaround times can vary depending on CAC’s current processing times and shipping.
This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date.
What Coins Can I Submit?
CAC eligibility depends on the grading service, coin type, grade, value, and CAC’s current submission policies.
Send us your PCGS or NGC certification numbers before shipping and we can help identify any obvious eligibility issues.
What Does CAC Approval Mean?
CAC evaluates already-certified coins to determine whether they meet CAC’s standards for the grade assigned by the grading service.
CAC approval can provide collectors with an additional level of confidence when buying and selling certified coins.
CAC makes all evaluation and approval decisions independently.
Why Submit Through Merak Coins?
