Box Auction

The Original Single-Show Box Auction

One collector. One box. One live auction.

Mr. Stone, Mr. Liberty, and other collectors have each had a Merak Coins live auction built around their coins. Your box could be next. We give your coins their own lineup, show each piece up close, and take questions from bidders live.

Show Us What’s in Your Box

From Your Box to the Auction Block

1. Send us a few photos or a rough list.
Tell us roughly how many coins you’re looking to sell and show us a few that stand out. For graded coins, include photos of the labels. If a piece comes with an old auction ticket, a handwritten envelope, or a good story, we’d love to see that too.

2. We’ll talk through the details before you ship.
We’ll review what you have and let you know if it’s a fit for a dedicated show. We’ll go over which pieces to send, how to pack and insure them, the consignment fee, when you’ll be paid, and what happens if a piece doesn’t sell.

3. Your coins get their own show.
Once your box arrives and we’ve checked in the coins, we’ll build the lineup. During the auction, we’ll show each piece on camera, point out the details collectors want to see, and take questions from the chat.

What Makes a Good Box?

Maybe it’s a run of Morgan dollars in old holders, a group of Washington tokens, or a mix of early commemoratives and world silver. It could be a set you spent years building or a box of favorites you’re ready to pass along.
